A D Sparks - Electrician

A D Sparks is a domestic and commercial electrician working in the Hampshire and Berkshire areas. Like many people in the trades, our client didn't have the time to strengthen the website that was originally created for him.

One significant strength of this electrician is that he's a member of Checkatrade, which means that customers are independently asked their opinions about the quality of his work and the results are public. We took this concept and made it a key selling factor within the website. We are also responsible for gaining natural search engine rankings, plus we maintain the PPC campaign for A D Sparks

B P Drains - Drains Unblocking

B P Drains is a domestic and commercial blocked drains contractor working in the Kent area. Barrie needed help with raising his Google visibility for both his drains and driveway/patio cleaning services

What Custwin finds interesting about most clients is gaining insights into their industries. In the case of B P Drains we discovered that the costs vary considerably, depending on who you deal with but as with many other industries, the better-known brand names typically charge a lot more for a service that may not be up to the same standard that an independent such as Barrie would provide. Our work with B P Drains has involved changing website content, PPC advertising, and ensuring that when people within his immediate target area are typing phrases into Google, that he appears in the first few (often top) of the natural search results.

Credo Care - Disabled Children Fostering

Credo Care specialise in fostering for children with disabilities. Credo Care are passionate about finding children foster homes instead of being in residential, long stay hospital, or hospice care. The process of finding suitable foster carers is extremely detailed and time-consuming and Credo Care are motivated by the differences made to the lives of children with disabilities.

Custwin work with Credo Care on website strategy, SEO, and PPC advertising and our brief is to ensure that potential foster carers are brought into the website and they then find plenty of reason to make contact to be considered as foster carers for children with disabilities.

Etienne Pradier - Close-Up Magician

Etienne Pradier is a close-up magician in huge demand with both corporate and private clients. A flick through his website shows the scale of work he's done, including numerous celebrities and royalty.

We met Etienne at an exhibition in 2009 and he was the winner of our stand competition, which gave him a few months free consultancy (yes, some competition prizes are totally genuine). We initially worked with Etienne to boost the level of enquiries for the lookalikes on his books within his Butterfly Trix agency. Once proven, we went on to work with Etienne on website strategy, PPC advertising, and SEO for his websites.

International Air Charter - Private Jet Chartering

International Air Charter were already a highly successful aircraft chartering company before we met, due in no small part to a strong internal marketing presence. Since meeting in late 2009 our brief has been to analyse website traffic and provide recommendations for improvements that will lead to higher levels of conversions from website traffic.

Analysis work can often be very challenging and this client website is no exception because there are numerous visitors to the website that would not have any intention of hiring a private jet (for example, they may just want to see pictures of private jets) and so our work is in cutting through the 'noise' that can be website statistics in order to provide useful information and recommendations that lead to higher levels of enquiries.

Jean-Christophe Novelli - Cookery Academy

The celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli runs a successful cookery academy in Hertfordshire and uses PPC to attract potential students to the website. Custwin works for Jean-Christophe Novelli on PPC, website analysis and website development.

The numbers of people typing phrases such as 'cookery schools' and 'cooking masterclasses' is huge nationwide and so this campaign is focused on the geographical target area around the Academy that's more likely to attract the type of clicks that are within easy travelling distance. The campaign focuses on ensuring the pricing is in the adverts so as to deter some types of clicks while attracting those that consider cookery with a celebrity to be a great experience opportunity for the cost. A campaign that seemed so simple initially evolved into something very complicated that's focusing perfectly on the right target audience. This initial PPC work then led to website analysis and subsequently website redevelopment work in order to gain higher conversions from the clicks on the Google adverts.

LMR Gear-Tech - Gear Manufacturers

LMR Gear-Tech are passionate about creating bespoke metal gears for clients in the UK and worldwide. Custwin love to work with LMR Gear-Tech because there is a clear dedication to providing the best solutions for clients, however challenging the brief.

We were introduced to LMR Gear-Tech in late 2009 and like many companies, they had been unfortunate enough to have received poor advice from an SEO company. Within a very short period of time we proved that it is possible to win £thousands of business through effective online marketing. In 2010 we're continuing our work and will be particularly focusing on strengthening the website. This is a company set to grow and grow and we're proud to be a part of that.

Medway Travel - Bespoke Travel Agents

Custwin's oldest client, Medway Travel are specialists in tailor-making leisure and business travel and stand apart from the high street travel companies by their attention to getting the right travel packages for clients. Custwin work for Medway Travel on PPC, website analysis and website strategy.

Travel is a viciously competitive sector within Google and any of the search engines, with some companies spending £thousands a day on PPC advertising. This means that anyone in the travel industry has to innovate and so the Medway Travel PPC campaign does this through focusing on particular niche areas of holiday types, which generates the desired levels of business. Custwin also worked on the Medway Travel website redevelopment and continue to provide website analysis expertise that helps in making constant refinements to develop more business.

Mercery Court - New Apartments

Mercery Court is an exclusive development of new apartments in the City centre of Canterbury, Kent. Built in 2009 during recession the challenge for Custwin was to make the website highly visible within Google to people considering buying property in the area.

As at early 2010 half of the properties have been sold and our ongoing work focuses on bringing in the potential buyers to the website so that we get to the point that all properties have been sold.

Plane & Simple - Wooden Play Equipment

Plane & Simple make and install high quality wooden play equipment for schools, pubs, public play spaces, and more, throughout the UK. There is a genuine passion for creating the best possible equipment for all clients and although there are standard pieces of equipment the emphasis is very much on providing the bespoke solution ideal for the client and those who will use the equipment.

We started work with Plane & Simple in mid 2009 and our brief was to drive traffic to the website. We quickly proved that it was possible to boost the level of enquiries beyond a level seen beforehand and as at early 2010 the challenge is in keeping up with demand while ensuring the same high quality products and service are provided.

Rowans - Ten Pin Bowling

Rowans is a ten pin bowling alley in Finsbury, North London. From the moment we walked through their doors we realised that their previous website wasn't accurately reflecting the very impressive and huge facilities they have. The current website is worlds apart from what was there before.

Custwin have been working with Rowans since mid 2009 and have been involved in the strategy behind the website redevelopment and are ongoing focused with driving traffic to the website through PPC and additional online marketing.

Sabai - Wine Spritzer Brand

Sabai is a wine spritzer drink aimed at a certain group of women and is one of the brands within the Red Bull group. Custwin work for Sabai/Red Bull on PPC.

The Sabai PPC campaign currently ensures that the Sabai brand is always visible in the main search systems (Google, Yahoo, MSN) when the brand name or related phrases (such as 'wine spritzer' or 'hibiscus drinks') are typed. Custwin are currently discussing taking this campaign to a new level that will significantly raise the brand awareness through making innovative use of PPC not yet seen used by other advertisers.

Seven Seas Worldwide - Baggage Shipping

Seven Seas ship personal baggage packaged in boxes from and to destinations worldwide. Custwin work for Seven Seas on PPC, website analysis, and website development.

Out of all the Custwin PPC clients, Seven Seas have probably benefited the most, purely because of the willingness to invest in PPC plus website analysis and development that leads to further gains. Gaining thousands of clicks to the website each month from people all around the world, Seven Seas are always pushing forwards on how to generate more business and Custwin are happy to help with our expertise.

Specialized - Metals Cutting and Manufacture

Specialized is a group of companies that provide a number of services. These include laserjet and waterjet cutting of metals and other materials, and the production of component parts for fitting onto lorries - such as larger fuel tanks for example.

A new client in 2010, Custwin are working with Specialized to build websites that reflect the quality of the companies and the rapid changes within them. As we go further into 2010, competitors of the Specialized group of companies will be starting to worry about where their levels of business are disappearing to.
