We had been using Google pay-per-click for some time with mixed results. Wishing for better results we asked Custwin to put together a new comprehensive pay-per-click campaign. While we have increased our pay per click expenditure, we have seen a near doubling of enquiries via our website (which brings in about £120,000 worth of business a year for us). Custwin's campaign is bringing in new traffic we were not getting before (some with 50%-100% click-through rates).

Website Development - Getting Started

A website development project typically takes between 4-8 weeks to complete from the date that there's agreement to start work. The process for a website development project from start to finish is as follows . . .

  1. You make contact, providing details of a website that needs redevelopment or a new website that needs creating. At this stage there are no-obligation discussions between you and Custwin so that we can determine exactly what you want to be achieving with your website. The result of these discussions (which are often by phone) is a rough sitemap of what the website would need to contain, plus an accurate picture of costings if the project is to go ahead.
  2. Following your approval to develop the website, Custwin work with you to create the full website strategy.
  3. Upon your approval of the finalised strategy the initial one third of the project payment becomes due and upon receipt, website designs are created for your consideration.
  4. After a process of making refinements to the website designs and your final approval, the look, feel, and structure of the website has been agreed and the website builder can start work.
  5. Over the following weeks the website takes shape and when the website has been initially filled with content within all the pages the second third of the project payment becomes due.
  6. Finally, the website content is then tweaked, the website is launched, and the final third of the project payment becomes due.
  7. After this point, if you've opted for having the website marketed in Google via a PPC campaign then this is implemented and the website starts to generate enquiries and business soon after the PPC campaign goes live.
